Freeport village offers Saturday mornings at the farmers' market, lunch at one of the many eateries, and free concerts on the L.L. Bean campus that draw crowds from all over. 

In autumn, the light turns golden, and the bay belongs to those who live here. In winter, the view from inside the house takes on a different feeling, the water turns  a steel blue, the fire is going, and cozy meals are made in the kitchen
